How it works

# How the route *works*.

Promise Peptides prescribes now for U.S. patients only. A licensed provider reviews each request and decides. Not everyone qualifies. Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved.

The short version

Promise Peptides prescribes these peptides now. You request a visit and share your health information. A licensed U.S. provider reviews every request and decides; not everyone qualifies. A prescription does not guarantee preparation or dispensing. A licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy reviews whether it can fulfill the prescription under the applicable requirements. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.

## How treatment requests work.

1. **Choose a treatment and answer its health questions**: The visit request asks for health information. It asks about your health history, the medicines you take, relevant conditions and what you are hoping for. The health questions depend on the treatment. Different medicines call for different checks.
2. **A licensed provider reviews the request**: A licensed U.S. provider reads every request and makes the decision: prescribe, or decline. This review happens for every request. There is no version of the route that skips it.
3. **Pharmacy review is a separate step**: A prescription does not guarantee preparation or dispensing. A licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy reviews whether it can fulfill the prescription under the applicable requirements. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.

## What “not everyone qualifies” means

It means the provider’s review is real. Wanting a treatment does not mean it fits your health. A condition, another medicine, pregnancy or breastfeeding may affect the decision. The treatment may lack studies for your goal. A provider can also decline because a treatment is not offered in your state.

A no is not a judgment of you. It is the part of the route that a research-only purchase does not have, and it is the reason the route exists.

## States and availability

Promise Peptides serves U.S. patients only. Availability varies by state and treatment.

Treatment availability can change. Every treatment request requires review by a licensed provider, and not everyone qualifies.

## What a prescription does and doesn’t mean

A prescription means a licensed clinician reviewed your health and decided a treatment was appropriate for you. It does not make a compounded medicine FDA-approved: FDA states that it does not verify the safety, effectiveness or quality of compounded drugs before they are marketed.[1]

It also does not change the research behind a peptide, which for many peptides comes mostly from animal studies. The [peptide library](https://peakpeptides.com/peptides/) sets out that evidence peptide by peptide, with the species named for every finding.
